New Rogue Security Tool: Security Sphere

Security Sphere is a malicious rogue antispyware application designed specifically to annoy users and force them into paying for a worthless piece of software, but that would not be the case if it were a piece of Idaho real estate. This rogue antispyware emanates from the same family as the well known and despised rogue Security Shield. The rogue will do everything in its power to make sure that it gains the trust of its victims, but when all is said and done this malicious rogue does not own the ability to detect, quarantine or remove any type of threat from the system. It is clear to see why you will want to get rid of Security Sphere as soon as possible.

The rogue will enter the system unbeknownst to the user, and will remain hidden until such time that it is ready to start its attack against the system. This will usually happen by the rogue initiating a fake security scan which will inevitably yield bogus results. However these falsely generated scan results should not be believed under any circumstances, as it only forms part of threat’s attack on the system.

Shortly after the fake security scan, the threat will spam the user with numerous fake security alerts. These fake security alerts are generated to further panic and annoy the user into believing that his PC is under attack so that he will pay for Security Sphere’s worthless software. These annoying pop ups will be relentless and will not stop until the user either decides to get rid of Security Sphere or pay for it.

As a further attack on the system Security Sphere will be the instigator of various other annoying symptoms on the system. It will blame these annoying symptoms on the supposed falsely detected threats on the system. Some of the annoying symptoms associated with the Security Sphere infection range from users being unable to connect to the Internet, as well as the inability to launch applications on the infected PC. This is done to further panic the user, but also to prevent him from running or downloading an application which may be able to detect and remove Security Sphere from the system.

Other symptoms reported on include extremely poor system performance and increased erratic system performance. Users have also complained about randomly generated desktop items and hidden folders on the system.

In order to protect your PC and limit the damage this malicious rogue will cause you will need to eliminate Security Sphere as soon as possible. Do this by investing in a properly functioning security tool which will not only erase this rogue but also protect you against similar attacks in future.
